Santhinikethan Old age home is a Registered Society Registration ER. 340/1989, dt  14-06-1989, and recognition certificate No.1054 dt 18/03/2004 and Recognition renewed no.1054 dt 01/05/2019. The work of the society is mainly concentrated at present in Ernakulam District. The Society works for the well being of the poor people here, especially for the poor women. We give shelter for twenty three old aged women and see to all their needs by giving them food, cloth, medicine, and stationery items and such other things. All the expenses are met by our Provincial council (FCC) Nirmala Bhavan Muvattupuzha. A very small sum of money is given by the government as grant each year.  The amount is spent for the well being of the inmates.
