By the Generosity of our late Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. Mathew Pothanamuzhi, our sisters who were working in the Govt. Hospital and the staff and student sisters of Newman College were allowed to stay in an old building belonging to Newman College. On 26th July 1966 it was blessed by Rev.Fr.GeorgeMonippilly under the heavenly patronage of Mary immaculate. On 9th September 1982 the newly built house was blessed by Rt.Rev.Dr.GeorgePunnakkottil, our Bishop.
