St. John the Baptist Convent in Vermillion, Minnesota, was founded in 1994 as part of St. John the Baptist parish. Currently four Sisters reside in the house provided by the parish. Three Sisters teach in the parish school, help in the after-school program, teach in the parish Faith Formation program, and offer other services in the parish as needed. One nurse Sister ministers in a Catholic old age home, Benedictine Health Care, caring for the residents physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional health.
