Graced by the Divine Providence, we started a house at Muvattupuzha on 9th, February 1975 under the heavenly Patronage of Nirmala Matha.  In accordance with the shifting of the Junior School from Vazhappilly to Muvattupuzha, we opened a well-known English Medium School named as Nirmala Junior School Muvattupuzha.  For the starting of Nirmala Bhavan and Nirmala Junior School, we owe much to Rev. Fr. Mathew Cherippuram, Rev. Fr. George Kunnamkottu, Rev Fr. Paul Kodamullil and Rev. Fr. Jacob Thevarpadam.  Under the leader-ship of the Provincial superior Rev. Mother Gloria, the blessing of this house was done on 9th February 1975 by Rt. Rev. Dr.  Mathew Pothanamuzhi.  On 14th July, 1975 the newly built Nirmala Junior School was blessed by the Vicar Rev. Fr. Paul Kodamullil.  The first superior of Nirmala Bhavan was Rev. Mother Luduvina and the first Headmistress of Nirmala Junior School was Rev. Sr. Sales.

       On 22nd Dec. 1979 the newly built Nirmala Bhavan was blessed by Rt. Rev. Dr. George Punnakkottil and this house has been functioning as the Provincial house of Vimala Province since December 1979.  Rev. Sr. Joviet, the provincial superior took initiative to build the new convent.  The joining extention of the convent and school was done by the Provincial superior Rev. Sr. Lesieux Mary in the year 1990.  In the year 2005, under the leadership of the Provincial superior Rev.Sr. Grace Mary, we constructed a new building attached to the present building with the outlook of the convenience of the sisters who are living here.  A working women's hostel is also functioning here.
